Trick or Treat

Halloween is done and over. It amazes me how long it takes to prepare for things and then they are over in minutes. I spent all week going through old costumes, washing ,buying stuff they needed. After a half hour tonight we were done, and by 7:00 we were home and the kids were in bed. The kids had fun and they all looked adorable. We started our Halloween off on Tuesday when I was trying on the kids costumes and after a while I noticed I had not seen Giddy in a while. We could not find him in the house so we went outside. He was returning from the neighbors in full costume with his pumpkin and he comes running saying " I got candy " He was a little excited and remembered how it was done last year so he decided he wanted candy so he took off. He is such a funny kid. I thought it was hilarious. Another Highlight was the package of Halloween stuff that the kids got in the mail from Aunt Shellie and Nanny. Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Giddy

Today is Giddy's third birthday. It has been a great day! Today is the perfect weather. It is about 60 and not a cloud in the sky. The sun is so bright it is beautiful. We had a party for Gid this morning with our neighbors and his new friends from church. It was a great time. The kids have not played much since we moved here and they were so excited to have friends over to play. It was the first day it seemed like we were at home. Probably because I was doing stuff I love and had people over.Giddy got a lot of presents and was really happy. This morning he opened his presents from Nanny and Papa, he especially loved the speed racer car. I am so thankful for my little Gid. He is a quite giant. He is big, but so soft and sweet. I love you Gid, I hope the rest of your day goes good.

Nanny and Papa come to visit

Last week Nanny and Papa came to visit.We had a lot of fun. We did a lot of exploring and eating. We found some fabulous restaurants and places and things to do.There first day here we found a hamburger joint named XXX Root bear. Chase ordered a hamburger and had know idea it was going to be the size of a Frisbee. However he ate the whole thing, thinking if he did he would get his brother Brady to come up and visit,to challenge him.(hopefully it works) We enjoyed the place so much that we had to take all the kids back there before they left.Lonnie and I did a bunch of gardening. We planted all of my bulbs for spring and some other flowers and weeded.The yard looks so much better.Thanks for the help Papa. One day I went running and exactly 2 miles from our home I found a beach at lake Sammamish, it is so beautiful.There where parks and grass a picnic tables and sand and boats to rent.I think we will spend most of our summer there.We took the kids back to see it. I think it is going to be great. We had a lot of fun, and we are going to miss them, but they will be back up here next month for Simeons baptism.

Ammon is 11 months old

Ammon is getting to be so big.This month he walks along furniture,claps,grew his first tooth(bottom middle).Ammon has a new trick that is annoying but he thinks it is hilarious.He loves to pull my hair.I am not happy about that trick.He also likes to9 act crazy,he laughs and crawls and does it at the same time while shaking his head, but he usually crashes into walls and furniture,so he always has a bruise on his forehead.He is still such a sweet little butter pot.

Happy Birthday To Me

Yesterday was my 32nd birthday.For the most part it was a good day.Chase had surgery on his finger again.Luckily, his parents came into town, so they took him to the hospital and did all of that fun stuff for me.So I pretty much had a normal day.I would like to thank all of my family and friends who called or sent me something.Kim sent me the coolest book and cupcake making supplies,so I made myself some of the cutest cupcakes.When Chase got home we had a little party it was fun.
