Swim Lessons

It is really hard to find swim lessons in Washington. I was so excited when I found one. Ammon has been bugging me forever to teach him how to swim. Not many people have pools here, it never really gets warm enough to use them. We always go to the lake but you cant really teach someone how to swim in the lake. We signed up Ammon and Emma, they had so much fun. There teacher was really good and the pool was heated so they didn't freeze! Ammon picked it up really quickly. Emma was really cautious but on her birthday since she was a big 4 year old she decided she could do the stuff her big brother was doing. Ammon's favorite thing was to dive for rings and Emma's favorite was to float.

Emma is Four

Emma is such a little spunky spitfire! She is so crazy and funny. She is very stubborn. She has to have a "kiss hug" every time I leave or she thinks I might leave or before she goes to nap or bed. If she doesn't get one she will scream at the top of her lungs until she does. Emma loves to dress herself, she comes up with the funniest outfits. She also loves to get her picture taken and will come up with all sorts of poses. Emma loves to boss Sam around and play with him. Emma loves the color pink and purple and wants everything to be those colors. Emma loves to color, jump on the trampoline and run around outside. It is so fun to have another little girl and I can't believe she is already four and starting kindergarten next year. We you little Emma Lou!

First Day of School 2013

I have 7 kids in school this year! I am down to only 2 at home. I have never had 2 at home since I had only 2 kids. It is crazy how fast time goes. Next year Emma starts Kindergarten and I will be down to one. This year Chase is starting his Junior year of High School, he is doing a running start program. He takes his classes at Bellevue community college and when he graduates he will have an associates degree. He goes to seminary with his friends and still plays on the football and basketball teams at the high school. Hannah is in 9th grade, it is her first day of high school. Sim is in 7th grade. Sol is starting 5th. Ben is a big 4th grader. Gid is in 2nd. Last but not least Ammon is starting Kindergarten and he is so excited he cant contain himself!

Sam's Easter Birthday Party

I can't believe that my baby is already two. He is such a high spirited little guy, full of energy. He climbs everything gets into everything. Emma is his little ring leader. She gets him to do all of the naughty stuff so that he can get into trouble. All of his older siblings teach him a lot of naughty tricks. I have to lock everything up and constantly watch the little guy. He is a little trouble maker. He loves to turn sinks on and get water everywhere. He takes stools into the pantry and climbs and helps himself to whatever he wants. He goes outside and plays by himself. He steals his older siblings things and runs and laughs. Sam is a funny guy and we love him.
