This is what the rest of us do when the boys play football.

Halloween

Halloween blew by also because we where still trying to unpack. We went to our wards trunk or treat and on Halloween night we did our little neighborhood. We had trick or treaters for the first time in the four years since we have lived here.

Gid the Kid Turned Seven

Gid is such a good kid. He is very soft and sweet and quite. He loves to do art and crafts. He loves to help around the house and just do stuff with you one on one. We had just moved into our house and we where still a mess. We had our friends over the Nelson's (we lived with them for 2 and a half months while we where waiting for our house to get ready) and the Scarborough's. We had sunday dinner and hung out. With Gids birthday money from his grandparents he went to Target and bought himself a new bike. He was so proud of himself.

Ammon turned Five

Ammon turned five on the 16th on November. Ammon is such a funny kid. He thinks he is the boss of overyone. He says the funniest things. Everyone loves Ammon. He has been stealing his older brothers 3DDS's for the past year, so all he wanted was his own. He was so excited when he got his. He could not believe it! Nanny and Papa came into town on his Bday. He thought it was just for him. They took him shopping and then he got to go out to his Bday dinner not only with just mom and dad, but with Nan and Pop. He wanted to go to Mcdonald's but we talked him into Outback Steakhouse. He was so excited and couldnt stop talking about going all day. The second we got in the car he fell asleep. Ammon is the big helper around the house this year. He is really good at cleaning his room and making his and Gid's beds. He thinks Emma is crazy and funny. She usually does stuff and he looks at me and shakes his head, like what in the world is she thinking. Ammon is so excited to start school next year. He can count to 300 and makes you sit and listen to him, and then he realizes ge can keep going and count more. He can spell his name and reconizes anything with an A on it. He is a good kid, with a funny personality.

Sim turned Twelve

I officially have three teenagers. Teenagers are tough. Sim turned 12 on the 10th of November. When our kids turn 12 we have a tradition of taking them out to dinner to Ruth Chris Steak House. Sim LOVED it!!! He thought it was the greatest thing ever. He was so excited to recieve the priesthood, and pass the sacrament for the first time. Simeon is in the 6th grade, he plays football and basketball and just started wrestling for the first time. Sim is a funny kid, his older siblings find him annoying. Him and his dad get along great and have the same sense of humor. He is kinda like his uncle Brady. Simeon also loves music!! He sings in perfect tune and can remember the words to every song. He has started to play the violin this year and he loves it. He is always practicing and on line trying to figure out how to play songs. He is very musical and really enjoys it.

New Era

A photographer from the church was in our area and needed a family to photograph for a possible new era cover. We took pictures at the beach in Seattle. It was absolutely freezing! They wanted us in shorts. It was in the thirties, but so windy it was bone chilling. It was a fun family activity. Chase, Hannah and Sim where the main focus of the pictures and we where the background. They may not use them or they may just put them on the church website, we just wont know unless we see them.
