For Thanksgiving this year my parents came up to visit. We had a really nice time. I made the whole dinner. It was a lot of fun. It was not as hard as I thought it just takes a lot of organizing so you can have it all done at the same time.Thanksgiving morning my mom made pies with all of the kids. They each had a job and got to help. It was a successful Thanksgiving, and we where thankful we had some family here with us.

What a wonderful day! I always host Thanksgiving, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Isn't it fun?! I must say, though, I don't know anyone with prettier serving dishes than yours. I notice it in a lot of your posts. Beautiful!
It's so awesome that your first big holiday up there could also be with family. I'm so glad about that! I hope you are loving it in your new home!
